Childrenswear has been part of my life for as long as I can remember – my parents’ business, designing and managing a babywear brand, was run from the Leicestershire farm where we lived. Design and creativity ran through the studio in torrents and I loved to immerse myself in it. Holiday jobs spent working at babywear and kidswear exhibitions introduced me to the industry in a broader context and it was then that I decided to start carving my own niche.

 

I studied creative art at school and photography at college but the real learning began in earnest when I set up my own photography business ten years ago. I dabbled in taking images of food and drink, candles and menswear but I kept coming back to my work with babies and children.

 

Now, I am proud to think of my customers, and the fact that they keep coming back to me. They range from kidswear in Brazil, first shoes made in England, babywear in Portugal and, most recently, a growing number of sustainable nursery brands. (Sustainability is my other passion!)
